Port of Bilbao & Transfennica into heavy cooperation!
BILBAO /AMSTERDAM – The Port Authority of Bilbao has awarded Zamakona, S.A. Shipyards the contract for the reinforcement works on Ro-Ro Ramp Nº 5 at the Port of Bilbao. This ramp provides the service to Transfennica’s Motorway of the Sea linking Bilbao with Zeebrugge three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The ramp will also be widened to enable a faster port operation.

Transfennica introducing new 120t roll trailers
A new fleet of 40' roll trailers will be introduced in June with a payload of max. 120 tons. These units, together with the main deck height of 8 metres in our Con-Ro fleet in Antwerp trade, will enable us to carry even heavier project cargoes to and from Antwerp.
